Still Life

This was sent from Orangeville High School in IL, but there was no artist name on it. Thank you whoever you are. It's rare to recieve large works on canvas, but this is one, it appears to be oil on canvas.

Tea, Coffee

from Cooland in CA. A computer generated piece.

Bottom View of Coffee Cup

Hand-drawn by Richard in Illinois.

Coffee with Drowning Doughnut

Hand-drawn by Richard in Illinois.

Coffee & Lots of Sugar

Hand-drawn by Richard in Illinois.

Still Life Drawing Coffee & 2 Aspirins

Hand-drawn by Richard in Illinois.

Coffee Ring 8

Ricardo in Illinois.

Coffee Ring 7

Ricardo in Illinois.

Coffee Ring 6

Ricardo in Illinois.

Coffee Ring 5

Ricardo in Illinois.

"Cat"ffeinated & De"cat"f

Richard in Illinois. I'm at a loss here. I love coffee, but I can't stand cats. But apparently this mug could be yours for $14.98.

Really Hot Coffee

from Ricardo in Illinois again. I like this visual pun. The article is about the woman who sued McDonalds because her coffee was too hot! I worry about some people's intelligence at times, or complete lack of it.

Yoco

from Ricardo in Illinois. The chemical name for caffeiene? Trimethylxanthine.

Worst Caffeine Addiction

from Richard in Illinois. This guy has started a great hobby, but he must have a lot of time on his hands or be independently wealthy.

"Post" Grape-Nut Flakes?

from Richard in Illinois. Look at the return address carefully. A subtley nice slip-in.

Coffee Klatch Confusion

This is a mixed media postcard from Sue Shingleton in VA. It has a very nice surface quality in person.

Cafe des Artistes

from Sean Whatever in WV (original from Holly Gollnick).

Steaming Cup

from Serendipity in MN. Seren always sends some great work. This is no exception.

Copper wire and pieces of money included!

Pompadour

from Asia in CT. A collage created from a rosehip and hibiscus tea package.

Coffee/Tea ATC's

From Andi in Grandview, MO. 3 very nice ATC's.

Coffee/Tea ATC's (envelope)

From Andi Hestand in Grandview, MO. The envelope was as beautiful as the cards inside.

Nothing Makes Sense Before Coffee

From Susan Smpadian in New York, NY. I can relate to this thought. She responded to the call from an add in Rubber Stamping Magazine. I was happy to have this call published in RSM. I think it increased participation a bit.

Coffee is Brewing

Another ATC from Mandy in Dayton, OH. This one is wrapped with ribbon and has a coffee theme.

Drink Tea

From Mandy. Dayton, OH. An artist trading card collaged from Bigelow Tea packaging. The bottom of the envelope reads, "and lights shining in all the cafes and shops and houses".

You're the Cream in My Coffee

From Colleen Conway in Holland, MI. A beautifully crafted card.

Chamo-Mail

From A.A. Berry. Hattiesburg, MS. I like the play on words here.

Coffee and Tea Package

This is from Kat von Trollebol in the Netherlands. This package had the most wonderful aroma when it arrived. It still lingers after 3 years. I have recieved some great artwork from this particular mail artist.

@

From Millesime in Hungary. The @ is created using coffee grounds.

Tea Rooms

From Celeste Brignac in Australia. There's something about this photo that I just love. Can't figure out exactly what it is though. I think it is a combination of its directness and good composition.

Coffee & Tea Collage

From Raluca Oana Baciu in Romania. The text reads, "I invite you to my pub! These are my favorite coffee and tea." If I ever go to Romania I'll seek it out. Thanx!

Envelope

This is the envelope in which the previous 2 posts were enclosed.

Share your wisdom

This is from the same artist as the previous post. On the back is a mail art call, which is documented at http://share-your-wisdom.blogspot.com/.

Odd Still life

From G.D.P. in Belgium. Notice the upturned coffee cup on the head, which sits in a saucer. This was done in watercolor and ink.

Tea, Nescafe

From Michel Della Vedova. Limoges, France. This appears to be instant coffee packages arranged to form the word "TEA", then photographed and digitally printed. A creative response to the coffee/tea call.

Tea Collage II

From Jenai Chin. Douglasville, GA. A tea bag attached to a patterned surface with other elements from various tea packaging.

Moka D'Ethiopie

From F.P in France. This interesting piece includes one of the Buddhist gods and an espresso pod with a picture of a goat (interesting). I don't speak French, but it appears to say something like, "visit our museum, and possibly something about birds???" Someone who can read French please comment on this one.
